Her step back move is the best thing she does. She is just a gamer. She's the old school. She's the Pete Maravich type of old school basketball. [Maggie] Lucas has meant a whole lot to the game. I hope she becomes a first team All-American.
Texas A&M Head Coach
Maggie Lucas is one of the best players in the country. She is a really high-powered offensive player. We probably haven't seen a guard like her in a while. She's good off the dribble and can score in a ton of different ways, but she is really an exceptional 3-point shooter.
Notre Dame Head Coach
[Maggie Lucas is] a tough player because she's capable of doing a lot. She's obviously a good three-point shooter, but she's added the penetration to her game. She brings a lot to their team because whether or not she is on or she's off, she is still going to have your best defender on her and she is going to have a lot of attention.
Hartford Head Coach
When she came to Penn State, [Maggie Lucas] was a great shooter. Now she's a great basketball player. She's developed a complete game. She came in as an average athlete and was a defensive liability. Now she's stronger, leaner and quicker.
Iowa Head Coach
She is a really special player. I don't ever play against a kid like Maggie Lucas and say, 'Hey, we're going to shut her out.' We just have to make her work for everything she gets. If you don't, she's going to dominate you.
Ohio State Head Coach
[Maggie Lucas] is the real deal. She's a fierce competitor and she's a fighter [and has] a tough mentality. Just hates to lose more than anybody.
Purdue Head Coach
[Maggie Lucas] may have the best pump fake and ball fake in all of women's college basketball. She has tremendous balance to her game.
Maggie Lucas is one of the most prolific three-point shooters in women's college basketball. Her ability to find gaps in the defense to get shots or create one from well beyond three-point range is outstanding.
ESPN & BTN Analyst
I like the fact that (Maggie's) game is evolving. . .
I like the fact that she has recognized that she needs to round out her game and has taken the steps to do that.

You can't produce the numbers she produced without being a very, very special basketball player.
She just doesn't need time to get her shot off; she's got great range on the three.
